Her own little piggy bank to do whatever with. He doesn’t even have to know how much money is there or how it’s spent. It’s just money for things that he would usually roll his eyes to.

Men don’t always agree with their wives on the concepts of needing versus wanting something. They don’t always get why a wife has to buy a hundred-dollar bag rather than a ten-dollar bag, why she needs to have five pairs of the same (according to him) shoes and why she needs to bother with an expensive under eye cream, etc, etc…

I totally get it, when man is the soul provider to the family, he got more important things to think about than creams, perfumes, clothes, flowers, purses, etc.. And it’s totally fine with me, but I would rather have them than not!

Obviously, I’m not going to spend family money on things my husband doesn’t agree with, or be irresponsible about our finances. So I decided to generate a little fund for myself to spend on whatever — clothes for me and the kids, theme parks, home improvement projects, my hobbies, purses, creams and make up! And I won’t have to put up with the eye-roll, or the “How much did you spend?”, or “Just be responsible!” (as if I’m not) statement. It’s going to be my little whatever fund!

The next question is — how would I get it? My husband is a blogger and an internet marketer, and he’s sticking strongly to the idea that anyone can generate money on the internet. So why not me? How hard is it to make a little bit of spending money on the internet? But what would I do — sell, market, write..?

I decided to give a try to an e-book. I am so completely new at it, not sure how well it’s going to go, if at all. I think the info I will be selling is great, but will others think so too? Anyways, it’s a whole new territory for me, so why not give it a try. What do I got to loose? I am doing the whole project by myself, so there is zero upfront cost. Dave, my husband, has a different idea of making my product a success, but that involves spending money! Yea, he also realizes that it’s going to be ‘his’ or ‘our’ money, that I would have to spend on ‘my’ project. So I decided that I am not going to be spending any money, before I actually start making money. To me it’s a safe way to go.

Since it’s my first info-product, I’m still working out the technical details. The product itself is ready to go, but I still need to activate the sale page’s domain and then set up Paypal shopping cart to go along with it. Since I’m doing everything myself, I’m learning a lot, and I am getting excited!

Till next time, happy entrepreneurship!
