Wow, let me know how the garden is coming along. Plants and I don't mix very well either.

My daughter prefers junky food to healthy, so I just don't give her any junk. At first she refused to eat the healthy stuff, but eventually came around. It's a constant battle, lol!

Gosh, sometimes I wish we lived in a time before all the processed foods came around and made our lives a bit easier...at lease at the first glance. I am thinking about growing some veggies on my back porch. After all we do live in FL. I don't have a green thumb though...that's what my husband says :). But it wouldn't hurt to try.

I'm also trying to instill healthy eating habits to my son. Given that his menu is limited to 5 things at this time due to his own choice, it presents a problem.

P.S. Publix sells freshly made peanut butter in the Deli. I cant say that they dont add anything artificial, but it doesn't have a long shelf life - that should say something. I buy Smuckers Natural peanut butter - peanuts and a little salt.
