First of all, you are the first woman with engineering degree who decided to become a stay home mom! I never saw anyone who gave up on engineering career so easy! I guess there are different types of people – someone could stay at home with kids with no problems, but others (like me) are getting crazy after just few hours of one-to-one contact with their kids. That’s probably why I don’t see why daycare is such a bad choice. My son started when he was just 2 months old, and not only because I was not ready to give up my job in engineering office, but also because I could not spend all day (every day) with him one to one. I love him; he is the best baby in the world, but still… I believe that quality of time wins over quantity of time big time.
As for the info product, try ebay. When I was pregnant, I saw that type of products over their all the time. It was something like “Having a baby? Ask me how to save”. (where to call and what to say in order to get coupons for baby things, free supplies for entire year and so on).
I personally never thought about making money on my experience. I usually share it with people on different forums for free. + I know that some suggestions cannot work the same for every doctor/every hospital in every state. Some doctors can negotiate the price for maternity package (Prenatal visits + delivery) (one in New Port Richey went from $4500 to $2100 within 2 visits and “long talks”, and another one in Wesley Chapel didn’t even think about changing package price). Thanks God my husbands insurance covered me after all.
Thanks for sharing about Maternity Card experience! It’s a scam!!! – this is how I end up here 
Also, what is the idea behind giving 100% satisfaction guarantee on your info product? Some people would buy it, read it, and than complain (money back!)
