Seacret Spa Eye Gel Review

After unsuccessfully trying out Seacret Regain Age-Defying Eye Cream for under-eye darkness, I decided to go back to the mall and exchange it for the Eye Gel. I didn’t have much choice, they don’t give refunds, exchanges only for 30 days after purchase. After explaining to the suave salesman that the product didn’t work and showing my receipt, he agreed to do an exchange for me.  The salesman convinced me that in order for the Regain product to work, I have to use the Eye Gel as a base (even though I was told otherwise when I purchased Regain). He was trying hard to up sell me on the facial serum as well, but after my experience with their Regain Eye Cream I wasn’t willing to spend any more money on any products from their stand. After I expressed my opinion, he proudly showed me a few impressive before and after pictures of people using their products. But how can I trust a picture if the product didn’t work on ME?

His next move was to show me how the product works on me. He dabbed quite a bit of gel under my eye, handed me a mirror and asked whether I could see the difference. The only difference I could see at the moment was the excessive shininess under the gelled eye. His verdict was that it looked lighter and smoother. In any case, I accepted his advice and decided to try out the Gel.

As I did in my previous review of Seacret Regain product, I treated only one eye for 16 days in a row. I took daily pictures of my eyes to see whether the difference can be noticed between the treated and the untreated eye.

So here are my picture results:

So here is the test for you. Can you see which eye I was treating? What do you think? My opinion is that I can’t see any difference between my eyes at this point.

Since I didn’t even get a receipt for my exchange this time around, I don’t think I will be successful at exchanging the product. But honestly, I don’t have much confidence at this point in Seacret line anyways. I guess now I see why they don’t take refunds!

If you have a success story with your eye cream (mainly removing/lightening dark circles) please leave a comment. I’d love to know!

Seacret spa SUCKS in CUSTOMER SERVICE. When I tried to return a defective product – TOTALLY IGNORED. Don’t buy their crappy product or sales pitch!!!

I am wondering if these people “tag team” all customers. The beautful salelgirl dabbed eye gel and cream on one side of my eye. I was clear after a few mins. that I did see the treated area showing signs of smoother skin and less fine lines. Still not convinced as she kept referring to how expensive the product would cost she then stated that her manager happened to be there for one day. They played off each other and the girl helping me said she would see if she could have her mgr approve one product to be given as a “gift” as she had never seen results as dramatic as mine. They actually argued for awhile (not in our language which I felt was very rude). I was told this NEVER happens, but they would sell me both products charging me for only one. The two were $l50 and I was told they would last for 2 years. Had I noticed the sign that said no refunds sooner, probably would not have bought. If it is so great they should not have to worry about refunds. Just began using 2 days ago, so unsure of results. they told me to wait 30 days?

30 days seems to be high to see results. They told me two weeks. If your receipt says you can exchange within 30 days, then you can try that. They have a bunch of products, as long as you show them their receipt, it should work.

My experience with Seacret has been nothing but bad…I told the salesperson that I had extremely sensitive eyes and that I’d need to return the product if I had a reaction to it…only after I used it for two days and, as expected, got incredibly irritated eyes, I grabbed the receipt and the product and — guess what — no returns. On top of that, he sold me on buy 2 get 1 free, but neglected to pack the “1 free.” Then I checked the product out online and saw that you can buy the same thing online for half of what I paid for it in the mall. When I called their 800#, they basically told me that they had to charge more in the malls because of the overhead. That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. Then they wouldn’t take back the product. Seacret is the biggest ripoff ever. And the biggest scam I’ve ever fallen for.

I was in Fort Lauderdale last week and was accosted by these salespeople in different malls. I did purchase some nail products but had a hard time getting away from the salesperson. The woman at the next mall was insulting when I said I wasn’t interested and told me I need eye cream for my “bags” (I don’t think I have bags!!). The next salesman was equally as rude and aggressive. Whether the products work or not, I won’t be buying them. They need to work on their sales pitch. It’s a turn off.

I too had the same eye gel sales pitch. A guy dabbed the gel and then a moisturizer under 1 eye, held upi the mirror. I have to admit that I could see a small difference, a little less wrinkles under that one eye. But I am a sceptic and don’t fall for those sales pitches. The guy first offered me the 2 for 1 deal, I still refused and then he offered me a “military” discount which he told me to never tell anyone or he would be fired! Ha! That is a good one. I still managed to get away, saying my husband would dis-own me if I spent that kind of $ on an eye cream.
So glad I did after reading these reviews. Don’t fall for the scam!

My dermatologist recommended I use Dead Sea minerals. I had never heard of Seacret Spa, and I was glad I found them at the mall.

I like the Seacret Spa mineral scrubs, but I’ve found the lotions to be no better/no worse than what I can get anywhere. What got me is, the prices are outrageous! Maybe that’s the reason for the hard sell — they can’t get anyone to take that expensive stuff off their hands!

I have had the best luck with Lancome’s Collaser products for dark circles and wrinkles around the eyes. It’s expensive as well, but it works very well for me.

I just bought it and my son was rushing me:/ I swear I am going to leave him at home next time!!! Did you try to call the company in AZ? I am going to try that this week… I will keep you posted. If I don’t get a positive I am going to report them to the better business bureau, not sure that’s going to do crap, but it will make me feel better!

No, I didn’t. But my receipt clearly stated “no refunds”.
