Mommy’s Exercise Helper

My neighbor sold me this neat running stroller.  I couldn’t refuse, he was only asking $30 for it.  I tell you what, even if I had to buy it brand new at the store, I would have!  The brand new ones go for $110-$130.  It is a neat way to couple my exercise and my toddler’s outside time!  She enjoys taking rides in it and I am happy that I can get a decent work out close to home.

The big wheels help smooth out the bumpiness of the sidewalk plates.  The stroller is easy enough to push along unpaved grassy ground.  I heard that it will even ride on the beach.  I haven’t tried that yet, but since we live near beach, it’s another plus!

This stroller doesn’t change direction as easy as a regular stroller. Its front wheel doesn’t pivot sideways along with the direction change.  It takes a little bit of arm muscle to maneuver around turns and curves.  But I don’t mind since the purpose of my outing is to exercise!

Since we live in sunny Florida, I invested in a ‘Clip-on Stroller Shade’.  I noticed that when we were facing the sun, my little one constantly squinted her big blues.  And all I could think about is that I’m exposing my baby to the harmful UV rays.  So, the clip-on shade is a lifesaver!
